Ahead of expected Local Government Reorganisation, the local Community Asset Transfer discussions are ongoing. Sevenoaks Town Council’s aim is to preserve and enhance current community assets for current and future communities.
Sevenoaks District Council Local Plan
Sevenoaks Town Council will prepare a response to the District Council’s Regulation 19 public consultation on its Draft Local Plan.

Dartford Road Zebra Crossing
Sevenoaks Town Council has led on and committed funding towards the zebra crossing at A225 Dartford Road as part of its previous funding of the 20mph scheme delivered in September 2024.

Proposed Corner Protections
Sevenoaks Town Council recently sought views on early proposals to introduce double yellow lines on several road corners within Sevenoaks Town, in order to reinforce the existing parking restrictions and improve visibility for cars and pedestrians.
