Christmas Lights Switch-On
Sevenoaks Town Council invites the community to enjoy this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On event in Sevenoaks Town Centre on Saturday 28 November.
The festivities run from 3pm to 5:30pm. The hilarious cast of this year’s Robin Hood Stag pantomime, Jamie Alexander Wilson as Dame Elaine Staige and Ant Payne as Silly Billy, will delight the crowds with a performance on stage, and they will be joined by the Mayor of Sevenoaks to switch on the lights at 4.30pm.
Made in Kent Radio will be compering the event, bringing lots of festive fun. Expect an exciting programme of family entertainment on the stage.
There will be plenty of stalls offering food, drink and gifts, plus some very special guests wandering the crowds including Frozen’s Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Don’t miss Santa’s Grotto under the clocktower, where children get the chance to meet Father Christmas and take home a present.
So, bring along your loved ones, get in the Christmas spirit, and enjoy an afternoon of festive fun in Sevenoaks.
Please note, the High Street, Dorset Street and part of Akehurst Lane will be closed from 1:30pm to 7pm to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Thank you to this year’s star level sponsors: Specsavers, Manak Solicitors, Bluebird Care and Bligh’s Meadow whose support has made this event possible.
