Sevenoaks District Council would like to hear your views on the emerging Local Plan for Sevenoaks District, which includes proposals to meet the District’s future housing and development needs.
The consultation period runs until 11.59pm on Thursday 11 December 2025. Full details of the consultation, including a link to the online survey are available on the District Council website at www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/emerginglocalplan
You can learn more about the emerging Local Plan at ‘pop-up’ sessions across the District. At these sessions, residents can speak directly with officers from the Strategic Planning Team. You are encouraged to sign up for a session in advance as there will be limited walk-in availability on the day. The ’pop-up’ sessions in Sevenoaks town will be held on:
- Wednesday 29 October 2025 (1-hour sessions at 4, 5.30 and 7pm) at Sevenoaks District Council offices, Argyle Road, TN13 1HG
- Monday 8 December 2025 (1-hour sessions at 4, 5.30 and 7pm) at Sevenoaks District Council offices, Argyle Road, TN13 1HG

Sevenoaks Town Council will soon be preparing a draft response to this consultation. Town Councillors will discuss draft comments at the Planning & Environment Committee meetings at 7pm on 3rd November, 17th November and 1st December.
