Join us at the Christmas Lights Switch-On

Come along to our Christmas Lights Switch-On event in Sevenoaks on Saturday 29 November.

Following the success of last year's earlier switch-on, this fun community event will be from 3pm to 5:30pm. The Mayor of Sevenoaks will switch on the lights in Sevenoaks High Street at 4.30pm. Please note, the High Street and part of Akehurst Lane will be closed from 1.30pm to 7pm.

Made in Kent Radio will be our comperes for the event again this year. We will have plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. You can enjoy stage entertainment, including from Frozen's Elsa, Anna and Olaf, fairground rides, Santa's Grotto, gift stalls, food and drink, as well as street entertainment.

Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon full of festive cheer.

Big band Jonah's Wail will be making the party really rock and for those who know Florence, the buffet, included in the ticket price, will be its usual BIG treat!

Design a Christmas Light Competition

We were delighted to receive a fantastic array of creative artwork from talented young people aged 11 and under for our Design a Christmas Light competition. Thank you to everyone who took the time to create a design.

One of these drawings will be brought to life as the winner is transformed into a Christmas light, proudly displayed in Sevenoaks.

We will announce the winner soon on our social media, so keep an eye out!

See West End stars in Aladdin panto at the Stag

Silly Billy and Dame Elaine Staige will be back at the Stag this Christmas for a new version of Aladdin. The show runs from 12 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

They will be joined by a cast of West End stars: Courtney Stapleton (Beauty and the Beast, Six), Jordan Fox who will play the evil Abanazar, (Frozen, The Rocky Horror Show), James Lim playing Aladdin (Clueless The Musical, Disney’s Aladdin) and Billie Hardy (The Time Traveller's Wife, Chicago).
